The West Coast of the United States of America offers some of the most beautiful views you’ll ever see. And with so much to do in each state, you could spend an entire year traveling the West Coast and never run out of new places to visit. Here are 10 stunningly beautiful vacation destinations on The West Coast that you won’t want to miss!

Vancouver

Known as The City of Glass, Vancouver is defined by its stunning architecture and natural beauty. Plan a trip to see iconic sights like Stanley Park or ride a gondola through Grouse Mountain. Take in all that Vancouver has to offer and you will have a vacation you will never forget! Live like a local: When visiting any new city, one of my favorite ways to get an authentic feel for its culture is by experiencing what locals do. Renting out an apartment from Airbnb allows visitors to really immerse themselves in their surroundings.

Seattle

One of America’s rainiest cities, Seattle is also home to one of its most popular vacation destinations: Pike Place Market. Surrounded by shops, restaurants and various attractions—including fish throwers, who still use their time-honored techniques every day—this Northwest gem offers up a hearty helping of Seattle history in a gorgeous setting, with visitors able to smell the sea air as soon as they walk through its doors. And for those looking for a bit more than just touristy fun, Seattle has plenty to offer, including an impressive array of music venues and plenty of parks for outdoor activities. The Bay Area: Home to San Francisco (and Silicon Valley), California’s Bay Area is among some of America’s top tourist destinations year after year.

Portland

Few cities rival Portland’s passion for food, which is why it’s one of my favorite cities. It has a little something for everyone, and its scenic location means there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy no matter your tastes. My favorite dish here is Dandelion Communitea Café’s mussels. I recommend starting your day with a trip to Mt. Tabor Park, where you can stretch your legs, breathe in some fresh air and see fantastic views of Portland from above. For dinner, check out Le Pigeon; they have an excellent selection of French-inspired dishes. If you want to make sure that you get a table, book ahead! If not, be prepared to wait up to two hours for dinner. To end your night, head over to Multnomah Whiskey Library; their extensive whiskey menu will keep even die-hard whiskey connoisseurs entertained all night long.
